The model of the research is the descriptive relational survey model. The population of the research consists of children aged 60-66 months, with normal development, who attend the official kindergartens and kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the central district of Muş province in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 350 children selected from the population by simple random cluster sampling method. As a data collection tool; 'General Information Form', 'Social Information Processing Test', 'Motivation Scale for Preschool Children (DMQ18)' were used. As a result of the research; A significant difference was found in the Social Information Processing Test total scores and the Motivation Scale for Preschool Children (DMQ18) according to the variables of gender, type of school attended, and the seniority of the teacher. It was determined that there was a positive and moderately significant relationship between the Social Information Processing Test Total for Preschool Children and the sub-dimensions of the Motivation Scale for Preschool Children.</p> ER -
