CHILD RAISING RESPONSIABILITY SCALE (CRRS): VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY
Keywords:
Child Raising Responsiability, Validity, ReliabilityAbstract
The pupose of this research is to develop Child Raising Responsiability Scale and to examine its reliability and validity values. The study was conducted on 206 people. Child Raising Responsiability Scale is rated on a five-point Likert-type. Structural validity of the scale was examined by exploratory factor analysis. Reliability of the scale was examined by Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient. Validity and reliability analyses of the scale were performed with SPSS 20 package programs. The EFA demonstrated that the 22 items loaded on one factor and the amount of total variance explained by one factor was 64,53%, and its Eigenvalue is 14,20. Scale’s KMO value is .96. Factor loadins ranged from .59 to .89. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient was .97. Corrected item-total correlations ranged from .56 to .87. These findings demonstrated that this scale may be used as a valid and reliable instrument.
