THE SEMANTICS OF CHARACTERS IN THE UZBEK TRADITIONAL CRAFTS

Abstract

The author considers the question of semantics shapes and decorations used in traditionalUzbek crafts. It is shown that the patterns that took place in various handicraft products arenot merely art forms, but also are an important source of ethnographic, reflecting the religiousviews and beliefs of the people.
